James Etheridge CertPFS
James is married and lives in Bearsted with his wife Lucy. When not working he enjoys being outdoors as much as possible whether that’s playing golf to the best of his limited ability or walking. In an attempt to keep fit he also attends a weekly circuit training class.
His first experience of financial services was 14 years ago during a holiday job at an insurance company in Tunbridge Wells. After this experience he worked for a number of years at another insurance company in Tunbridge Wells where he worked with financial advisers and achieved his Financial Planning Certificate. In 2006 he moved to work for another insurance company in the City of London, during this time James gained a greater knowledge of care fees planning and retirement income options.
In 2010 James decided to use the experience he gained from working with financial advisers to become an adviser himself. James established Focused Financial Planning so that he could offer client focused, independent quality advice
